Data Deletion Instructions

At Dine Competitions, you have full control over your personal data. You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time using one of the methods below.

Option 1: Delete Your Account In-App

The quickest way to delete your data is through the Dine Competitions platform:

  1. Log in to your Dine Competitions account.
  2. Go to your Settings page.
  3. Scroll down to Account.
  4. Click "Delete Account".
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

This will permanently and immediately delete your account and all associated data from our systems.

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you are unable to access your account, you can request data deletion by sending an email to privacy@dinecompetitions.com. Please include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

  1. Your profile information (name, display name, email, avatar).
  2. Competition history and participation records.
  3. Ratings and reviews you have submitted.
  4. Chat messages and notifications.
  5. Badge and achievement records.
  6. Any data received from third-party login services (Google, Apple).

This action is irreversible and cannot be undone.

Social Login Users

If you signed up or logged in using Google or Apple, deleting your Dine Competitions account will remove all data we received from these services, including your name, email address, and profile picture. You can also revoke access from your Google or Apple account settings.
